Warehouse Assistant

A fast-growing logistics and import-export firm operating across the UAE, we specialize in end-to-end supply chain solutions for FMCG, retail, and industrial goods. We’re scaling our warehouse operations to support regional distribution, requiring agile, detail-oriented team members who thrive in fast-paced, physical environments and take pride in maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency on the warehouse floor.

Role & Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for quantity, damage, and document accuracy.
• Organize, label, and store inventory in designated locations using barcode scanning and warehouse management systems.
• Pull, pack, and stage outbound orders for timely dispatch, ensuring correct SKUs and quantities.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse aisles—follow safety protocols and operate material handling equipment (MHE) responsibly.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies to supervision for inventory reconciliation.
• Collaborate with logistics and dispatch teams to meet daily shipping targets and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) operation
• Barcode scanner use
• Forklift or pallet jack operation (certification preferred)
• Inventory counting & stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO)
• Microsoft Excel (basic data entry & sorting)
• Safety compliance (OSHA or equivalent training a plus)

• Experience in FMCG or retail distribution
• Arabic language proficiency
• Knowledge of UAE customs documentation basics
