Warehouse Shipping Clerk
Shift: Wednesday through Sunday 12-hour shifts
1st shift 5 am - 5 pm
Job Summary
The Warehouse Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating logistics and transportation activities, receiving inbound shipments, preparing outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation records. This position supports both West and East warehouse operations by receiving IB and bulk trailers, creating BBU picks, preparing BBU trailers for departure, verifying paperwork, and ensuring shipping and receiving accuracy. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule logistics and transportation activities as needed.
- Receive IB and ship OB trailers in the West warehouse area.
- Receive bulk trailers in the East warehouse area.
- Create BBU picks in the East warehouse area.
- Post and prepare BBU trailers for departure, including BOLs and related shipping documents in the East warehouse area.
- Print and prepare labels for IB raw materials and packaging in the West warehouse area.
- Verify packing slips for receiving accuracy in the West warehouse area.
- Verify IB paperwork, including COAs and packing slips, against system entries.
- Conduct cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
- Perform location verification to ensure product is stored in the correct locations.
- Complete weekly inventory verification activities.
- Sign drivers in and out using the required log.
- Communicate outbound shortages as needed.
- Identify discrepancies in receiving paperwork from vendors.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in the warehouse management system.
- Assist with inventory control and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience using shipping software or warehouse
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping documents, and receiving paperwork.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule, Wednesday through Sunday.
Preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Experience with barcode scanners and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving documentation, including BOLs, packing slips, and COAs.
- Experience working in both inbound and outbound warehouse operations.

Working Conditions

- May require overtime or additional coverage during peak business periods.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
