Custom welding and fitting for a wide variety of small structural projects. Weld processes include metal shield, inner shield, and MIG (GMAW). Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• 40 hours + work week Monday - Friday
• Must have knowledge and understanding of welding symbols (AWS & ISO standards)
• Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings and illustrations.
• Any other Steel fabrication machinery/ equipment experience such as mills, lathes, CNC plasma cutting tables, punching, forming, and rolling machines a plus.
• Punctuality and good attendance required
• Must pass a weld test
• Steel toed boots and your own hand tools required
• Have your own welding hood
• Use a tape measure and be able to understand basic detail drawings
• Use jigs, fixtures, and tooling for assembly of parts and components
• Follow instructions and standards
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner
• Efficient and productive
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Previous experience with automated welding equipment is a plus
• Overhead crane and forklift skills/experience are a plus
