Position 1.
Local Shop Welder / Fabricator
This position works full time at our Indianapolis shop.
Job duties include:
- Fabricating industrial structures
- MIG and stick welding
- Reading drawings and blueprints
- Preparing materials for installation projects
- Operate forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts
- Use hand and power tools including wrenches, socket sets, ratchets, torque wrenches, impact wrenches, grinders, drills, saws, and hydraulic equipment
Requirements
- Certified in MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding
- Valid driver's license
- Must be insurable under the company's vehicle insurance policy
- Ability to safely lift, climb, and work in active industrial environments
- Previous welding, fabricating, or industrial construction experience is preferred
- Must be an Indiana Resident
- Flexibility to travel as needed for project work
Schedule
- First Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- This position normally has little to no overtime.
- Additional overtime opportunities may be available by assisting on traveling installation projects throughout the United States

Position 2.
Full-Time, Year-Round Traveling Welder / Millwright / Rigger
This full-time position travels to factories throughout the United States installing, uninstalling, loading, unloading, moving, and setting heavy industrial machinery. Most projects are in paper mills and manufacturing facilities.
Job duties include:
- Assemble, disassemble, install, remove, and relocate heavy industrial machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and fit machine components
- Align, level, square, and precision-fit machinery for proper operation
- Use precision measuring tools including tape measures, levels, framing squares, calipers, laser levels, transits
- Operate forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts
- Use hand and power tools including wrenches, socket sets, ratchets, torque wrenches, impact wrenches, grinders, drills, saws, and hydraulic equipment
- Perform Stick welding and basic fabrication as needed
- Work with cranes, chain falls, hoists, and rigging equipment to move heavy machinery
- Follow all company and customer safety procedures while working in active industrial facilities
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Must be insurable under the company's vehicle insurance policy
- Ability to travel throughout the United States
- Ability to safely lift, climb, and work in active industrial environments
- Previous millwright, rigging, welding, mechanical, maintenance, or industrial construction experience is preferred
- Must be an Indiana Resident
Travel Schedule
- Travel to projects throughout the United States
- Transportation to and from project locations is provided in company vehicles
- Projects may range from weekend jobs to 1–3 weeks at a time
- Crews generally work 10–12 hour days, with frequent overtime and weekend work
- Hotel accommodations and per diem are provided
Pay and Benefits (for both positions)
- $23-$27 per hour, based on experience and skill
- Paid Weekly
- Overtime after 8 hours each day
- Weekend hours paid as overtime
- Insurance benefits after 90 days
- Paid time off after 1 year
- 401-K benefits after 6 months
