Commercial Shuttle Driver - Transportation

Description

The Commercial Driver Shuttle safely transports employees, patients, visitors, students, and physicians between Tampa General Hospital and designated remote parking locations and facilities. This role operates a variety of shuttle vehicles while supporting routine operations and special event transportation needs in a high-volume healthcare environment. The Commercial Driver Shuttle performs duties in alignment with hospital safety standards, regulatory requirements, and the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Shift differentials: Evenings 3p-11p is 15%, Nights 7p-7a is 19%, and any weekend shifts is an additional 5%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• FL Drivers License
• Department of Transportation Medical Certificate

• A current Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement

• Drivers may not have more than seven (7) points on their driver’s license

• Certain infractions may disqualify drivers automatically at management discretion

• Six (6) months of experience operating large motor vehicle equipment, including trucks and/or buses
