Surf City Fitness is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Childcare Attendant to join our Kidz Zone team. This position is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment while parents enjoy their workout.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient, and committed to providing excellent care every shift.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Approximately 15 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities.
• Encourage positive social interaction and healthy emotional development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary childcare area.
• Follow all health, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's visit and any concerns.
• Assist with light cleaning and organization before and after each shift.

Qualifications

• Previous childcare or daycare experience preferred.
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children is a plus.
• Patient, dependable, and compassionate.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a safe environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance are required.
