Surf City Fitness 14160 NC Hwy 50 Surf City, NC 28445(On the left, just before the Surf City Bridge)Surf City Fitness is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Childcare Attendant to join our Kidz Zone team. This position is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment while parents enjoy their workout.We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient, and committed to providing excellent care every shift.Schedule<ul><li>Monday &ndash; Friday</li><li>8:30 AM &ndash; 11:30 AM</li><li>Approximately 15 hours per week</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.</li><li>Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.</li><li>Plan and participate in age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities.</li><li>Encourage positive social interaction and healthy emotional development.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary childcare area.</li><li>Follow all health, safety, and facility policies and procedures.</li><li>Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's visit and any concerns.</li><li>Assist with light cleaning and organization before and after each shift.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous childcare or daycare experience preferred.</li><li>Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children is a plus.</li><li>Patient, dependable, and compassionate.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask while maintaining a safe environment.</li><li>CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).</li><li>Must be able to pass a background check.</li><li>Reliable transportation and excellent attendance are required.</li></ul>What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is someone who:<ul><li>Loves working with children.</li><li>Has a positive, upbeat attitude.</li><li>Is dependable and punctual.</li><li>Works well independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Creates a fun, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a safe environment.</li></ul>If you're passionate about helping children learn, play, and thrive, we'd love to meet you!Why Join Surf City Fitness?At Surf City Fitness, we're more than a gym&mdash;we're a community.
