Manager, Compliance Operations Transformation

Experiences

Minimum 6-10 years of relevant work experience in Regulatory and FCC Transformation

Hands-on experience in Compliance process optimization, project management, or system enhancements.

Exposure to technologies such as screening engines (Firco), TM systems (Actimize, SAS), Case Management Tools, Data Analytics etc.

Prior experience in a UAE Banking or Financial services Compliance environment

Strong understanding of AML/CFT, Sanctions, and broader compliance frameworks.

Job Purpose

§ The role is responsible for driving the planning, design, and execution of transformation and digitization initiatives across Compliance Operations

§ Successfully execute & coordinate high priority projects for the bank.

§ Support process optimization, automation, regulatory alignment, and AI transformation programs related to AML, Sanctions, FCC Operations, Governance, and overall Compliance risk management.

§ Partners closely with Group Compliance, Compliance Operations, Group Governance, Technology, Digital, and key business units to ensure effective delivery of tactical and strategic projects.

Main Tasks

Identify inefficiencies and areas for automation across AML, Sanctions Screening, KYC, CDD, Transaction Monitoring, and Regulatory Reporting.

Support the design, execution, and monitoring of major Compliance transformation initiatives.

Work with stakeholders to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and enhance control effectiveness and operational efficiencies.

Support adoption of AI/ML, analytics, and digital tools for FCC enhancements.

Ensure project documentation, change processes, and controls adhere to internal and regulatory standard.

Facilitate workshops, working groups, and regular review meetings with stakeholders.

Provide clear progress reporting, risk / issue updates, and recommendations

Drive continuous improvement culture across FCC / Compliance.
