Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for orthodontic procedures
• Assist orthodontists during various treatments, including bracket placement, adjustments, and appliance fittings
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations
• Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices
• Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems in Tops
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following infection control standards and dental office protocols

Skills

Prior orthodontic assisting experience recommended but not required. Will train on the job.
