What We Offer
The After School Mandarin Teacher is a vital part of our school community, carrying out many of the duties necessary for the day-to-day operations of the campus. This position will work as part of a team to develop a plan of instruction appropriate for the elementary students in our immersion program. The emphasis will be on vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This person must be professionally prepared to teach Mandarin to young children.

- Salary range: $32-36 per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm-6:00 pm

You will also
- Monitoring student behavior during meal service
- Plan and organize after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities
- Assist students with homework
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
- Be responsible for the safe supervision and care of students
- Light sweeping, wiping down tables, and trash removal
- High school graduate or GED
- Prior experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to connect with a variety of colleagues and students
- Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
