Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Legal Compliance:</li><li>Stay abreast of national and international maritime laws and regulations.</li><li>Ensure the company's NVOCC operations comply with legal standards.</li><li>Provide legal advice and guidance to internal teams on legal matters related to shipping.</li><li>Contract Negotiation and Drafting:</li><li>Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual terms align with business objectives.</li><li>Manage and maintain a comprehensive repository of legal documents.</li><li>Insurance Management:</li><li>Oversee and manage insurance policies relevant to NVOCC operations.</li><li>Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure adequate coverage for potential risks.</li><li>Handle insurance claims, assess damages, and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution.</li><li>Risk Assessment and Mitigation:</li><li>Identify legal and operational risks associated with NVOCC activities.</li><li>Devise strategies to mitigate legal and insurance-related risks.</li><li>Implement risk management policies and procedures.</li><li>Dispute Resolution:</li><li>Handle legal disputes and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.</li><li>Represent the company in legal proceedings related to NVOCC operations.</li><li>Work towards amicable resolutions and settlements whenever possible.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Food provided</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Leave encashment</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have 70% and above scores in 10th and 12th academic years?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
