<div>POSITION PURPOSES:
Mondrian South Beach is currently looking for a Room Attendant to join their team. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms in accordance with established quality and performance standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean guest rooms for sale. Clean occupied guest rooms. Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards. Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned. Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Mops and vacuums all floors daily and cleans mops after each use.</li><li>
Changes all bed linens, bedspreads, and blankets as needed.</li><li>
Cleans and disinfects sink, toilet, and tub-shower.</li><li>
Restocks soap and toilet paper, and provides clean towels as needed.</li><li>
Washes windows and window coverings in all rooms as needed.</li><li>
Dusts all countertops, bedroom dresser tops, and furniture as needed.</li><li>
Dusts paintings, wall fixtures, and door jambs in rooms and hallways weekly.</li><li>
Empties all trash cans on a daily basis and disposes of trash in designated areas.</li><li>
Recycles appropriate materials in accordance with training procedures.</li><li>
Reports any broken items to management, such as beds, chairs, and fixtures.</li><li>
Replaces light bulbs as needed.</li><li>
Ensures all unnecessary lights are turned off as required.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
High school education; or up to six month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Able to read labels and instructions on products and interpret written information.</li><li>
Organizational skills</li><li>
Time management</li><li>
Able to work in a team environment and take direction.</li><li>
Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.</li><li>
Able to maintain balance, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe.</li></ul>
