Hospitality Sr. Account Executive, Sourcing, Experiential Job Description
</p></div><div><p>The Role and What You&rsquo;ll Do:
</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Reports to Vice President Director, Hospitality
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Qualifies requests and briefs.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Develops profit, sourcing, and negotiation strategy.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Utilizes technology tools for sourcing and tracking sourcing and contracted volume.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Qualifies vendor responses, proposals, contract process and addendums.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Point of contact for vendor destination management meeting requests.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Works closely with Client Services, Creative, Hospitality, and Production on vendor negotiations, vendor performance and unique programming ideas.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintains initiative-taking, positive, and open line of communication with client and account teams to ensure understanding of deliverable timelines and roles and responsibilities.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Responsible for accurate program forecasting and updating business management system with current financials up until the file is turned over to operations.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Assist Client Services team in managing and planning site inspection documents.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>As needed, arrange brainstorm and creative sessions for destination and programming ideation
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain final electronic files through the process as required by company standard operating procedures.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Prepare and conduct turnover meetings to the assigned Client Services Team
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain excellent and professional working relationships with industry vendors and clients.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Look to develop workflow that will help strengthen the cohesiveness between other departments.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>High-level of accuracy and diligence
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Assist with new business RFPs, RFIs, presentation deliverables and special projects as assigned.<br>
</p></li></ul></div></div><p></p><div><div><p>You Have These:
</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Knowledge of MICE Industry
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Minimum of 3-5 5 + years&rsquo; experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and event designing with a hotel, convention center, organization, DMC, P production C company, or 3rd p P arty A agency
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Strong Computer Skills : Excel, Word and power point PowerPoint
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Strong knowledge of Cvent Sourcing
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Experience in hotel buying, travel suppliers, event support vendors
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Knowledge of hotels and destinations globally, as well as ability to maintain supplier relationships
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Experience in contract negotiations, specific to hospitality industry nuances and legal aspects, securing best rates, concessions and favorable contract terms.
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Initiative-taker, motivated, great communicator and resourceful
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Candidates with CMP or similar industry certifications a plus<br>
