1-800 Radiator &amp; A/C of Chicago is one of the largest automotive parts distributors in the country. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team in a part-time administrative and cash management role.Position SummaryYou will be responsible for daily cash and check posting, tracking invoices, preparing deposits, and ensuring all driver paperwork and payments are properly accounted for. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow up on discrepancies to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.Responsibilities<ul><li>Post daily cash and checks accurately.</li><li>Track and manage invoices through our Wizmo system.</li><li>Scan checks and process remote bank deposits.</li><li>Prepare and deposit cash through our Brinks deposit system.</li><li>Verify all delivery drivers return invoices, payments, and required paperwork daily.</li><li>Review tracking reports and follow up on missing invoices, payments, or documentation.</li><li>Reconcile daily deposits against invoices and payments received.</li><li>Maintain organized records of deposits, invoices, and payment activity.</li><li>Communicate with drivers, customer service representatives, and management regarding discrepancies or missing documentation.</li><li>Assist with administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.</li><li>Excellent communication and follow-up skills.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.</li><li>Basic accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or cash-handling experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and email communication preferred.</li><li>Must be dependable, organized, and trustworthy when handling company funds.</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Stable and growing company</li><li>Flexible part-time schedule</li><li>Team-oriented work environment</li><li>Opportunity to grow into additional accounting and administrative responsibilities</li></ul>Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
