Job OverviewWe are a mission-driven early intervention autism clinic in Roseville, MN seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist. This role is essential to supporting our growing team &mdash; ensuring smooth HR processes, compliance, and a positive workplace culture so our staff can focus on providing high-quality care to the children and families we serve.This is not an entry-level position. We&rsquo;re looking for someone with proven HR experience who understands both people and systems &mdash; ideally in a school, healthcare, or child-focused setting. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate clearly, and take pride in helping teams run smoothly, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, recordkeeping, and offboarding</li><li>Coordinate payroll and benefits administration through ADP</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws</li><li>Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for staff HR inquiries and workplace guidance</li><li>Support managers with performance evaluations and professional development planning</li><li>Track time-off requests, attendance, and scheduling in alignment with clinic needs</li><li>Help foster a supportive, inclusive, and mission-driven culture across the team</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required, ideally in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field</li><li>2+ years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare, education, or social services</li><li>Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now experience a strong plus)</li><li>Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills &mdash; approachable, clear, and professional</li><li>Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail</li><li>Experience supporting teams in child-centered or neurodiverse settings is a plus</li><li>Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply</li></ul>The Right Fit Is Someone Who<ul><li>Can balance HR compliance with warmth and empathy</li><li>Anticipates staff needs and solves small issues before they grow</li><li>Thrives in structured systems but adapts when the day shifts</li><li>Maintains confidentiality while building trust with employees</li><li>Cares deeply about supporting the people who make our work possible</li></ul>To ApplyPlease send your resume and a short cover letter to info@1plusproject.comJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $26.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Saint Paul, MN 55113 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Saint Paul, MN 55113: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
