Position Overview1st Response Restoration is seeking a skilled and dependable Rebuild Technician to perform structural repairs and reconstruction services following water, fire, and mold mitigation projects. This position is responsible for returning residential and commercial properties to pre-loss condition with a high standard of craftsmanship, efficiency, and professionalism.The ideal candidate has strong construction knowledge, works well independently, and takes ownership of quality and timelines.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform demolition and structural repairs as directed by project scope</li><li>Execute framing, drywall installation/repair, tape/texture, and interior finish work</li><li>Install doors, trim, cabinetry, flooring, and minor roofing/siding repairs</li><li>Conduct minor plumbing and electrical work (within licensing guidelines)</li><li>Read and interpret scopes of work and construction plans</li><li>Maintain clean and safe job sites in compliance with OSHA standards</li><li>Communicate progress and issues to Project Manager</li><li>Ensure projects are completed on time and meet company quality standards</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of residential or light commercial construction experience</li><li>Proficiency in drywall, framing, trim, and finish carpentry</li><li>Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with clean driving record</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in restoration/reconstruction industry</li><li>Knowledge of Xactimate scopes</li><li>IICRC certifications (a plus)</li><li>Basic understanding of insurance claim processes</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive hourly wage based on experience</li><li>Overtime opportunities</li><li>Company vehicle (if applicable)</li><li>Opportunities for advancement within the company</li></ul>Why Join 1st Response Restoration?We are a locally trusted restoration company committed to rapid response, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service.
