Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Coordinator. As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental facility by coordinating patient appointments, managing patient benefits, and assisting with dental billing and coding.Responsibilities: - Schedule and coordinate patient appointments - Greet patients upon arrival, collect necessary paperwork, and update patient information in the system - Assist patients with completing necessary forms and provide them with relevant information regarding their visit - Manage dental records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with billing and coding processes, including verifying insurance coverage and submitting claims - Follow up on outstanding patient balances and coordinate payment arrangements - Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve any issues or inquiriesSkills: - Strong understanding of dental terminology - Proficient in using dental software (willing to train in Dentrix Ascend) - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously- Able to take initiative on tasks and projects - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient records and billing information - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companiesThis is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care while contributing to the efficient operation of a dental facility.Salary may be subject to negotiation based on experience.Job Type: Part-timeMonday &amp; Wednesday, 7:00 Am - 4:00 PMTuesday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PMOne hour lunch, no evenings, no weekends.
