Job Description 
Reports To: Beverage Manager, Food &amp; Beverage Director
General Purpose: The Bartender provides timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for each guest.
Specific Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Follows all steps of service.</li><li>
Provides superior service behind the bar by preparing drinks according to recipe standards.</li><li>
Knows drink names, ingredients, method of preparation, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.</li><li>
Knows all wines by the glass and at least five wines in each category on the wine list in varying price ranges and styles.</li><li>
Knows specialty beverages, i.e., single malt scotches, cognacs, specialty drinks, and beer lists.</li><li>
Knows all menu descriptions of the bar menu and dining room menu.</li><li>
Ensures all stock is up to par levels.</li><li>
Completes daily inventory and informs servers/managers/bar back of any changes.</li><li>
Verifies all guests are at least 21 years of age.</li><li>
Provides prompt, accurate report of all income received during shift.</li><li>
Sells beverages responsibly with the customer's best interest in mind.</li><li>
Maintains smooth flow of service between bar and server requests.</li><li>
Completes all side work as outlined in the manual.</li><li>
Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shifts.</li><li>
Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers and guests.</li><li>
Maintains a clean, orderly appearance in the restaurant service area.</li><li>
Assists with/executes any tasks as assigned by the supervisor.</li><li>
Follows all proper sanitation guidelines.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).</li><li>
Responsible, dependable, punctual.</li><li>
Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.</li><li>
Clean and professional appearance.</li><li>
Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.</li><li>
Exhibits strong beverage knowledge.</li><li>
Must pass a background check.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.</li><li>
Requires lifting of up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>

Job Description 
Reports To: Dining Room Manager &amp; General Manager
General Purpose: The restaurant Host is the first employee to interact with arriving guests as they enter the restaurant. It is the job of the Host to greet arriving guests, welcome them into the establishment and seat them. The guests receive their first impression of the restaurant in their exchange with the Host.
Specific Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Understands he/she is the first impression of guests whether at the door or on the phone and behaves in accordance with high standards set by restaurant reputation.</li><li>
Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers and guests at all time.</li><li>
Knows at least 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts and can explain them to a guest/caller.</li><li>
Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shift.</li><li>
Maintains a clean, orderly appearance of the restaurant service area.</li><li>
Fills in for multiple positions as needed.</li><li>
Delivers a prompt, accurate report of all income received during shifts worked.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).</li><li>
Responsible, dependable, punctual, adaptable.</li><li>
Detail oriented, behaves calmly and recognizes order within chaos.</li><li>
Superior communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.</li><li>
Clean and professional appearance.</li><li>
Basic math skills.</li><li>
Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.</li><li>
Must pass a background check.</li></ul>
Education/Formal Training:
<ul><li>High school or equivalent education required.</li><li>
Experience with Open Table preferred.</li></ul>
