Job Description 
How does your working day look like &hellip;<ul><li>
Manage catering operations for off-site catering and hotel events, including corporate events, private parties, and bespoke experiences.</li><li>
Coordinate with clients to understand event needs, preferences, and dietary requirements, offering creative and tailored menu options.</li><li>
Ensure flawless execution of all events, handling everything from event design and logistics to delivery and post-event feedback.</li><li>
Supervise all aspects of service during events, from setup to breakdown, ensuring every detail is executed with precision.</li><li>
Take the lead on off-site events when required, managing logistics including transportation, equipment, staffing, and client communication.</li><li>
Work closely with external vendors and partners to secure resources like d&eacute;cor, sound, lighting, and any additional services required for off-site events.</li><li>
Ensure that off-site events run as smoothly as hotel-based ones, delivering the same high standards of service and cuisine.</li><li>
Lead, train, and motivate the catering team to deliver excellent service, ensuring staff is well-prepared for both in-house and off-site events.</li><li>
Oversee the scheduling and allocation of staff for each event based on the scope and nature of the event.</li><li>
Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and support professional development.</li><li>
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners, ensuring high-quality products and services are always available.</li><li>
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions for both hotel and off-site catering.</li><li>
Manage relationships with external catering partners for off-site events, ensuring quality service standards are maintained.</li><li>
Develop and manage budgets for catering events, ensuring costs are kept within budget while maintaining high standards of quality.</li><li>
Track expenses and revenue for each event and prepare detailed financial reports for management.</li><li>
Work with the sales and marketing team to promote catering offerings, including off-site catering services, through various channels.</li><li>
Assist in the creation of marketing materials, event packages, and seasonal menus.</li><li>
Represent 25hours Hotel Dubai at industry events and networking opportunities to grow the catering business.</li><li>
Ensure exceptional service standards and food quality are maintained at all events, handling any issues or concerns swiftly and professionally.</li><li>
Collect client feedback after events to continuously improve services and cater to guest expectations.</li><li>
Resolve any client or guest complaints and ensure overall satisfaction for all catered events.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and industry standards, both on-site and at off-site locations.</li><li>
Manage catering operations to ensure the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and quality control are upheld.</li></ul> 
Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years in catering management, with experience in both hotel-based and off-site catering events.</li><li>
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously.</li><li>
Strong creative problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly and think proactively.</li><li>
Deep understanding of event planning, catering logistics, and guest relations.</li><li>
Proficient in event management software and MS Office Suite.</li><li>
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.</li><li>
Knowledge of food safety and industry regulations.</li></ul>

Job Description 
How does your working day look like &hellip;<ul><li>
Answer Incoming Calls: Respond promptly to calls from guests, potential clients, and other hotel departments.</li><li>
Direct Calls: Transfer calls to the appropriate departments, rooms, or staff members.</li><li>
Provide Information: Offer accurate and courteous information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to guests.</li><li>
Message Delivery: Take and deliver messages for guests, ensuring clarity and accuracy.</li><li>
Interdepartmental Communication: Relay important messages and information between departments (housekeeping, concierge, front desk, maintenance, etc.).</li><li>
Assist with Requests: Help coordinate requests for services like room service, housekeeping, wake-up calls, and maintenance.</li><li>
Confirming bookings, and handling any inquiries related to room availability at night.</li><li>
Up-sell Services: Promote additional services or amenities (e.g., spa, dining) to guests when appropriate.</li><li>
Guest Inquiries: Handle any inquiries or complaints with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring guest satisfaction.</li><li>
Special Requests: Address and facilitate special guest requests (e.g., wake-up calls, room changes).</li><li>
Emergency Calls: Respond to emergency situations, directing calls to appropriate personnel like security, medical staff, or the front desk.</li><li>
Documentation: Log messages, requests, and inquiries for future reference and follow-up with the use of MessageBox.</li><li>
Emergency Response: Follow emergency procedures for situations like fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security concerns.</li><li>
Security Awareness: Ensure that sensitive information about guests or hotel operations is handled securely.</li><li>
Schedule Wake-up Calls: Ensure wake-up calls are made on time, according to guest preferences.</li><li>
Data Entry: Update guest records and other relevant guest feedbacks in the hotel's system as needed.</li><li>
Maintain Work Area: Ensure the telephone switchboard area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.</li><li>
Professional Appearance: Maintain a polite, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.</li><li>
Support Hotel Goals: Ensure that all interactions reflect the hotel's brand and commitment to luxury service.</li><li>
Answer all calls according to the set standard in the department training manual.</li><li>
Assist with all, internal as well as external request and pass it on to the concerned department / room number</li><li>
 Handle messages for in-house and expected guests.</li><li>
Prepare Reports: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to call volume, guest inquiries, and service quality.</li><li>
Respond to all emails in a timely manner according to the set standard in the department training manual.</li><li>
Crosscheck and make sure the guest nationality and ID in OPERA matches with that in VICAS.</li><li>
Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management</li></ul> 

Qualifications

High school diploma or higher education is preferred and Telephone system</li><li>
Working in a customer service driven environment.</li><li>
Working with different computer software Microsoft Office packages.</li><li>
Working Knowledge of Opera software is preferred.</li><li>
Telephone handling training or cross training in telephones is desirable.</li><li>
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and teamwork spirit is also desirable</li><li>
Good telephone / administrative / computer skills</li><li>
You can speak and write English fluently. Arabic is a plus.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re a doer &ndash; and even if you do it wrong sometimes, you openly admit it.</li><li>
You have extensive knowledge of spa treatments, products, and techniques.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re not just bringing your abilities, but also your character.</li></ul>
