Job OverviewWe are seeking a flexible and caring Float Teacher to join our childcare team. The Float Teacher will support classrooms across all age groups toddlers, preschool by assisting teachers and providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. This role requires adaptability, teamwork, and a passion for working with children.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide classroom coverage and support as needed across multiple age groups.</li><li>Assist lead teachers with lesson plans, activities, and daily routines.</li><li>Supervise and engage children to ensure safety and developmentally appropriate experiences.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.</li><li>Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.</li><li>Adhere to licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies.</li><li>Implement positive behavior guidance strategies.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or Early Childhood Education degree preferred),but not required</li><li>Previous childcare or teaching experience strongly preferred.</li><li>Ability to adapt to different classrooms, teaching styles, and routines.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Must meet state licensing requirements, including CPR/First Aid certification and background checks.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience and education.</li><li>Professional development and training opportunities.</li><li>Supportive team environment.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 39 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
