Position overview:</p><p></p><p><br>
As part of our Calculation Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions for complex projects. Your responsibilities will include:</p><br>
<p></p><ul><li>
Perform structural analysis of steel structure</li><li>
Perform mechanical calculations on piping and pressure vessels;</li><li>
Perform flow analysis, pressure drop calculations and pump sizing;</li><li>
Detailed design of steel connections (welded/bolted) by analytical methods / hand calculations;</li><li>
Perform lifting analysis of skids, modules and equipment;</li><li>
Lead teams of Jr. engineers into the successful completion of projects and objectives;</li><li>
Write technical reports and calculation notes in technical English as per the requirements of Classification Societies Rules and Regulations;</li><li>
Review, check, and verify structural drawings, and supporting documentation rated to the project in accordance with Client requirements;</li><li>
Assist the project engineers during the preliminary studies, procurement, and installation phases;</li><li>
Manage third party personnel by monitoring the workload and verifying deliverables;</li><li>
Coach and mentor junior members of the team.</li><li>
Ensure that all project requirements are complied with, including budget and schedule. Keep track of any variations and reports to the calculation manager.</li></ul><br>

Profile
</b></h3><div>
<p></p><p>We seek the ideal candidate profile with:</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Educational background:</b></p><p>
Engineering Bachelor degree (Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Naval Engineer);</p><p><b><br>
Industry knowledge:</b></p><p>
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience structural design for Offshore O&amp;G;</p><p><b><br>
Essential technical skills:</b></p><ul><li>
Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS, FEMAP or equivalent;</li><li>
Good understanding of industry related standards (e.g. AISC, API, ASME) and Class Rules (e.g. ABS, DNV, Norsok) is a plu;</li><li>
Technical knowledge of steel fabrication and steel material selection as per relevant Codes;</li><li>
Experience with High Pressure Piping (HP) Design (5k/10k/15k psi) is a major plus;</li></ul><p><b>
Software proficiency:</b></p><ul><li>
Experience with structural analysis software, STAAD PRO or similar is mandatory;</li><li>
Well versed in detailed design of steel connections with Mathcad / Excel</li><li>
Familiar with technical drawings and drafting softwares such as AutoCAD or similar;</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
