Guide Position - Part time $16.00-$17.00 per hourApplicants must be 18 years or older Must be able to work flexible days and hours, Saturday and Sunday availability required.About us Located in Destiny USA, 5 Wits adventures are cutting-edge, live-action entertainment venues that immerse participants in realistic, hands-on adventures, challenging them to prove they have what it takes to battle a Pharaoh (Tomb) save the world (Espionage), capture a dragon (Drago's Castle), or match wits with an evil artificial intelligence (Deep Space).For more information please visit our website www.5-wits.comGuide Position Reporting directly to the venue Shift Supervisors in our Destiny USA location in Syracuse, a Guide is responsible for maintaining adventures, engaging customers, facilitating adventure introductions, hosting birthday parties and encouraging imagination.As an Adventure Guide, your duties will include:<ul><li>Ensures that guests are greeted immediately upon entering the store and that passers-by outside of the store are approached if they appear curious.</li><li>Sells tickets, merchandise, gift cards, concessions, and restocks merchandise as needed.</li><li>Responds to customer needs and resolves issues as necessary.</li><li>Facilitates the beginnings and endings of the adventures.</li><li>Hosts birthday parties by serving food and beverages and facilitating activities with party guests.</li></ul>Job Requirements<ul><li>Applicants must be 18 years or older</li><li>Basic math and cash handling experience, phone and computer skills</li><li>Must be customer service oriented with excellent communication skills</li><li>Must be able to present yourself and the company in a professional manner at all times, have a sense of humor, and display a cheerful willingness to do whatever needs to be done to help the team</li><li>Must be able to work flexible days and hours, Saturday and Sunday availability required</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourAbility to Commute:<ul><li>Syracuse, NY 13204 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Syracuse, NY 13204: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
