 Minimum 12-15 years' experience in engineering consultancy firms. Proven experience in concrete structure design and analysis.
 
 
 A qualified graduate engineer in Civil/Structural Engineering.
 
 
 Master's Degree/Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage.

 Develop a network of contacts on each contract. Concentrate on developing a unified commitment of excellence in dealing with site and design team colleagues.

 Project Role

 Works independently and as part of a team to complete specific supervision activities assigned.

 Review structural shop drawings, Calculations, and method statements.

 Conduct site visits to monitor steel erection and resolve technical issues.
 </li>

 Provide technical support during fabrication and installation phases.

 Identify and resolve design discrepancies or structural challenges.
 </li>

 Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review RFIs and provide responses.

 Ensure compliance with international codes , Authority standards and project specifications.

 Monitor construction works to ensure design intent is achieved in the construction phase to the minimum requirements required by approving authorities as the Local Consultant for the project.

 Attend weekly site progress meeting
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates/communicates with other disciplines regarding coordination issues and day-to-day supervision activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain awareness of project budgets and timelines, ensuring engineering solutions are cost-effective and aligned with financial objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to represent the practice at project level.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to supervise a small team of engineers and technicians.
 </li>
 <li>
 Role will normally be as Project Engineer on projects of various sizes.  On major/more complex projects could take the role of a Design Engineer.

 Be responsible for delivering work to a fee agreed with a Project Manager.
 </li>

 Prepare and present client and project proposals to stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supports inspection team to resolve any site activity issues.
 </li>

 Adopts creative and innovative solutions to site problems/clashes and develops appropriate supportive technical documentation/research reports.

 To have very sound knowledge in design software like Etabs, Staad pro, IDEA StatiCa, SAP etc.

 Review and comment on deliverables produced by Engineers &amp; Technicians at key stages through a project.

 </li>
 <li>
 Have knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Have knowledge of analytical concepts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Should be responsible for Quality Management (QA) for their team.
 </li>

 </li>

 Have knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.

 </ul>
 QHSE Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Understand, implement and follow 9E QHSE policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report any QHSE incidents immediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Abide Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
 </li>
