Job description:Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.</li><li>Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and month-end closing processes.</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.</li><li>Process payroll accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Prepare tax documents and assist in the preparation of tax returns as needed.</li><li>Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.</li><li>Assist with corporate accounting tasks as required, providing support to senior accountants when necessary.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.</li><li>Proficiency in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and general ledger accounting.</li><li>Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation processes.</li><li>Knowledge of QB or other accounting software is preferred.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and address any discrepancies or issues promptly.</li></ul>Pay: From $35.00 per hourWork Location: In person
