<div>A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the FAA&rsquo;s Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) program and its integration with the Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) system. TFDM is the tower modernization initiative designed to replace legacy, paper-based and stand-alone systems with integrated, digital tools that improve flight data management, surface traffic efficiency, and collaborative decision-making. The program consolidates multiple older systems into a modern, electronic environment. FDIO serves as a critical interface within this ecosystem, enabling controllers and other stakeholders to access real-time flight plan information from ERAM and other core FAA systems. Together, TFDM and FDIO provide more accurate data sharing, improved departure sequencing, and enhanced situational awareness to reduce delays, save fuel, and improve the safety and predictability of air traffic operations. 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Support FDIO Second Level Engineering and collaborating with Air Traffic, NATCA, and facility representatives to develop and convert adaptation data.
</li><li>Translate EFSTS adaptation to FDTS adaptation, configuring adaptation parameters, and validating data accuracy to ensure operational effectiveness across terminal and en route domains.</li>
<li>Provide support to FDIO Second Level Engineering.</li>
<li>Communicate with Air Traffic, NATCA and Facility Representatives to develop FDTS adaptation.</li>
<li>Convert EFSTS Adaptation to FDTS Adaptation.</li></ul> 


Skills Required:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of air traffic operations and procedures in the en route and terminal domains.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate with various organizations within the FAA, including AJM, AJV, AJT, ANG, and NATCA.</li>
<li>Proficient in Linux and GIT.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li>
</ul><ul><li>Detail oriented, independent, self-motivated, and a proactive team member.</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills effective with operational, technical, and senior management audiences.</li>
<li>Strong analytical background and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul> 


Skills Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Experience with FAA NAS or Mission Support systems.</li>
<li>Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.</li>
<li>Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as, have the ability to identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of system investments.</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills effective with operational, technical, and senior management audiences.</li>
<li>Extensive and detailed knowledge of FAA NAS systems.</li></ul> 


Education: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in an air traffic related field and 5-20 years relevant experience.</li></ul> 


Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US. 
The salary range for positions is $50,000 to $175,000. This range is provided as a general guideline and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of compensation. Actual salary offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate&rsquo;s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition, compensation may be influenced by applicable Federal Government contract labor categories and established contract wage rates.

FDIO FDTS Adaptation Developer

<li>Review site drawings, fabricating and testing cables, and validating deployed systems to ensure proper functionality.</li>
<li>Provide support to FDIO Second Level Engineering.</li>
<li>Assist with FDIO Modifications.</li>
<li>Read site drawings.</li>
<li>Install and validate hardware and software.</li>
<li>Cable fabrication and testing.</li></ul> 


Skills Required:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of computer hardware - comparable to Comp TIA A+ certification.</li>
<li>Ability to follow directions.</li>
<li>Able to communicate with various organizations within the FAA.</li>
<li>Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li>
<li>Knowledge of cable paths and protocols (serial, Ethernet, Fiber).</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.</li>
<li>Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.</li>
<li>Detailed-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing highly technical information and systems.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.</li>
<li>Detail oriented, independent, self-motivated, and a proactive team member.</li></ul>
