Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves working closely with preschool-aged children to support their growth, development, and learning through engaging activities and individualized attention.Duties<ul><li>Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.</li><li>Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special educational requirements.</li><li>Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.</li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Experience working with preschool students is essential.</li><li>Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education.</li><li>Familiarity with early intervention strategies and standardized testing for young children is beneficial.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.</li><li>Ability to implement effective classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior among students.</li></ul>Join us in shaping the future of our youngest learners by providing them with the foundational skills they need for lifelong success!Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>CPR Certification (Preferred)</li><li>Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Maurice, LA 70555 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
