A Kids Place is a privately owned preschool dedicated to serving children ages 2&ndash;5. We provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive.Position: Lead Teacher (Blue Room &ndash; Ages 2 &amp; 3 )We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual who takes pride in the quality of care and education they provide. The Lead Teacher plays a vital role in fostering children&rsquo;s development through age-appropriate activities, lesson planning, and daily care routines.Schedule<ul><li>Center Hours: 7:30 AM &ndash; 5:30 PM</li><li>Position Hours: Monday- Friday 9:00 AM &ndash; 1:30PM (with the possibility of additional hours and advancement to a full-time teacher role)</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure constant supervision, safety, and well-being of children.</li><li>Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.</li><li>Support daily routines, including diapering, snacks, lunch, outdoor play, and releasing part-time children.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including assisting with closing responsibilities.</li><li>Communicate effectively with children, families, staff, and the director in a professional manner.</li><li>Follow state licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and center policies.</li><li>Share in housekeeping and sanitary duties, including diapering, sweeping, mopping, and meal preparation.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>At least 18 years of age.</li><li>Minimum of 12 ECE semester units (required).</li><li>Current First Aid/CPR certification (preferred, not required).</li><li>Proof of immunizations and TB clearance.</li><li>Must be fingerprinted and cleared (fee reimbursable after 30 days).</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to creating a positive classroom environment.</li><li>Ability to take initiative, follow directions, and maintain professionalism.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 per hourWork Location: In person
