Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young learners. This role involves teaching foundational subjects, implementing lesson plans, and assessing student progress while promoting social and emotional growth.Duties<ul><li>Engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.</li><li>Assess student performance through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations to monitor progress.</li><li>Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports early intervention strategies.</li><li>Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student development and academic performance.</li><li>Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects diverse backgrounds and promotes collaboration among students.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in preschool or elementary school environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.</li><li>Familiarity with lesson planning techniques and the ability to adapt lessons based on student needs.</li><li>Experience in behavior management techniques to create a conducive learning environment.</li><li>Knowledge of early intervention practices to support students with varying needs.</li><li>DCF 45 hours required</li><li>CDA preferred</li><li>CPR/First Aid required</li></ul>If you are enthusiastic about shaping the minds of young learners and possess the necessary skills to thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply.
