The Inside Sales Representative- Pipe Valves &amp; Fittings will have a proven background in inside sales &ndash; ideally in industrial products with excellent customer service, sales skills, MS Office skills and be self-motivated.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Generate new and repeat sales by providing product quotations and technical information in a timely manner.</li><li>Determine clients&rsquo; requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products, services and/or solutions.</li><li>Accurately process client transactions such as orders, quotes or returns.</li><li>Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering featured promotional sale items.</li><li>Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to product shipment dates and expected date of delivery.</li><li>Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.</li><li>Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team.</li><li>Communicate to the purchasing department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products.</li><li>Follow company policies and procedures.</li><li>Present a professional image at all times to clients and vendors.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication.</li></ul>
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This job operates in an office. The office is a smoking/drug-free environment. This role is performed primarily while seated. However, certain duties also require standing, walking, and carrying. This position does require the ability to lift and carry boxes weighing an average of 10 lbs/box.

Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am &ndash; 5:00 pm; with a 60-minute unpaid lunch. 40 hours per week.</li><li>
Salary Range: $65,000 &ndash; $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience) plus performance bonus</li><li>

Requirements:

 Qualifications<ul><li>3-5 yrs experience with Inside Sales Pipe Value &amp; Fittings. A mechanical background would be a plus</li><li>Excellent phone manner and superior communication skills.</li><li>Accurate data entry skills.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet. Eclipse system is a plus.</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing and dynamic work environment.</li><li>Strong organizational skills.</li><li>Works well in a group/team setting with limited amounts of supervision.</li></ul></div>
