Job descriptionDUTIES - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements - Operate welding equipment to join metal components according to specifications - Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding - Use lifting equipment to move heavy materials or finished products - Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues - Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements - Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings - Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding - Familiarity with using hand tools and measuring instruments - Mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication processes - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precisionNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
