Job Description:Pay: From &pound;14.50p/h + BonusesHGV Hiab/Grab Driver/Operator - Class C - Dayshift &ndash; Monday - Friday with alternating SaturdaysWe are looking to recruit experienced and professional HGV drivers.Working Hours /Schedule Dayshift &ndash; Monday - Friday with alternating SaturdaysOutline of role<ul><li>Class 2 driver consisting of Hiab/Grab vehicles, with the opportunity to cross train on Chain lifts, Hook loaders, Tippers and Bin lorries</li><li>Be able to conduct mandatory pre use, during, post checks &amp; report any defects as applicable; Ability to interact with customers &amp; general public in a professional and friendly manner:</li><li>A detailed understanding of Drivers Hours &amp; the Working Time Directive, traffic laws &amp; regulations;</li><li>Completing necessary paperwork/documentation accurately, including waste &amp; delivery notes, use of a PDA / Tablet system to access &amp; completions of work:</li><li>Assist in loading, securing &amp; unloading;</li><li>Adhere to company driving policy &amp; procedures;</li><li>Manual handling, working at height &amp; banksman duties as required:</li><li>Assist with plant operative duties when required;</li><li>Willing to undertake familiarisation training on different company assets;</li><li>Adhere to delivery schedule &amp; routes whilst adhering to a high level of professionalism &amp; customer service;</li><li>Ability to work safely;</li><li>Taking pride in company assets ensuring they are cleaned, maintained, roadworthy in accordance with both statutory requirements, company policy &amp; procedures.</li></ul>SalaryStarting rate from &pound;14.50 p/h + BonusesDue to insurance purposes the above rates are applicable to drivers over 25 years of age and a minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience.
