Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our team and drive excellence in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system installations. As a key leader on the installation crew, you will oversee the setup of complex HVAC systems, ensuring they meet safety standards, design specifications, and quality expectations. Your expertise will help deliver comfortable, efficient climate solutions for our clients while mentoring junior team members and maintaining high standards of workmanship. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects from start to finish, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and field service experience to make a tangible impact.Duties<ul><li>Lead the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems with precision and efficiency.</li><li>Interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate system setup and compliance with specifications.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate field service activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times during installations.</li><li>Perform equipment repair, welding, plumbing connections, and electrical work as needed to complete installations seamlessly.</li><li>Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot system issues during installation and commissioning.</li><li>Train and mentor apprentice installers or junior technicians to develop their skills in HVAC/R systems, property maintenance, appliance repair, and mechanical knowledge.</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, inspection reports, and compliance records for each project.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician work.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing, and refrigeration.</li><li>Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans accurately.</li><li>Field service experience with troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; capable of performing equipment repair and maintenance tasks.</li><li>Skilled in welding, property maintenance and general mechanical work necessary for comprehensive system installation.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC/R work environments including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively.
