General Responsibilities:Audio Video Extremes (A/VX)&rsquo;s Technicians will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting commercial and residential audio, video and security systems. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with strong communication and collaboration skills.Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Install commercial and residential audio, video, home automation and security systems using industry standards &amp; best practices.</li><li>Maintain timely communication with the Install Manager and/or sales and management staff to optimize project planning, execution, and completion to ensure customer satisfaction</li><li>Assist in verifying product inventory accuracy by reviewing checklists to ensure all items are in the vehicle before departing for the jobsite</li><li>Properly document inventory used on jobsite and any excess inventory</li><li>Ensure that both customer and company expectations are met promptly</li><li>Ensure proper documentation in Systems (iPoint/OVRC)</li><li>Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in Technology</li><li>Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and regulations</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul>Desired Skills<ul><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Knowledge of several types of commercial and residential audio, video and security systems</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in working collaboratively within a team, maintaining professionalism and respect</li><li>Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations</li><li>Attention to detail</li></ul>QualificationsRequired Education: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: 2+ year of prior experience in audio, video, security systems, or related fields.Candidates with practical construction experience and/or experience with Control4 programming is a plus.Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50-75 pounds regularly, move safely over uneven terrain, and climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.
