<div>Position Summary: The Video &amp; Security Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise security systems and associated processes.
Role and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Perform installations with minimal supervision, including the wiring, setup, and testing of enterprise security components such as access control panels, IP-based video surveillance, commercial access control, and intrusion alarm systems</li><li>
Maintain, troubleshoot, and program various security devices, ensuring the optimal functioning of commercial access control systems, IP-based video surveillance systems, and intrusion alarms by regularly servicing them and addressing any identified issues</li><li>
Apply in-depth knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, IP cameras, intrusion detection, video analytics, IP network systems, and visitor management solutions to complete tasks effectively</li><li>
Lead and guide a team during project installations, ensuring that all tasks are executed according to plans and quality standards</li><li>
Oversee the quality of all work performed, ensuring compliance with company standards, and provide exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction</li><li>
Monitor and document project milestones, addressing any delays or issues that arise, and ensure projects are completed on time</li><li>
Assist clients by diagnosing and resolving system issues remotely in a professional and timely manner</li><li>
Identify and resolve issues related to IP-based video surveillance by troubleshooting connectivity, configuration, and functionality problems to restore proper operation of IP camera systems</li><li>
Diagnose and repair access control issues by addressing hardware malfunctions and software configuration errors to restore full system operation for access control systems.</li></ul>
Essential Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
</li><li>Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers</li><li>
Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality</li><li>
Participate in site housekeeping
</li><li>Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner</li><li>
Perform additional duties as directed by Management
</li><li>At times may perform clerical/administrative duties</li></ul>
Educational &amp; Experience Requirements:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or relevant work experience</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years of field experience</li><li>
Electronics training from a technical school or military background in electronics-communications, preferred</li><li>
Certifications in Axis, Hanwha, Wisenet, Exacq, Paxton, 2N, preferred</li><li>
Holds Connecticut E, C or L License, preferred</li><li>
OSHA 10 certification</li></ul>
