Job Summary:The Import-Export Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating international trade activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, maintaining documentation, and optimizing logistics for the timely and cost-effective import and export of goods. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure smooth international operations.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Import &amp; Export Operations</li><li>Handle all documentation for import and export shipments.</li><li>Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers for smooth shipment clearance.</li><li>Ensure all import/export processes comply with national and international trade regulations.</li><li>Track shipments and update stakeholders on shipment status, delays, or issues.</li><li>Negotiate freight rates and transport arrangements to optimize costs and delivery times.</li><li>Customs &amp; Compliance</li><li>Prepare and review customs documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.</li><li>Liaise with government authorities regarding import/export regulations, tariffs, and duties.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, trade agreements, and documentation requirements.</li><li>Coordination &amp; Communication</li><li>Collaborate with the procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to align shipping schedules and inventory needs.</li><li>Communicate with overseas suppliers and customers to manage orders, documentation, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Handle customer queries related to shipping, delivery timelines, and documentation.</li><li>Reporting &amp; Record Keeping</li><li>Maintain proper records of import/export transactions.</li><li>Prepare regular reports on shipping status, freight costs, and customs expenses.</li><li>Assist in audits and inspections related to trade compliance.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and documentation.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Priority : Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce. In Additional Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.</li><li>Candidates from other background are also welcome.</li><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience in import/export operations or international logistics/Freshers are also welcome.</li><li>Basic Knowledge of computer MS-Word, MS-Excel.</li><li>English spoken is good/Good Communication.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;20,000.00 - &#8377;22,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
