Job Title: Law OfficerDepartment: Legal Reporting To: Management / Legal Head Location: KolkataSalary Range₹20,000 &ndash; ₹25,000 per month (CTC)Job PurposeTo handle the organization&rsquo;s legal matters, coordinate with external legal professionals, represent the company before lower courts, and ensure effective legal support and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Coordination &amp; Case Management<ul><li>Coordinate with legal vendors, panel advocates, and senior counsels</li><li>Follow up on case progress, hearings, and legal opinions</li><li>Prepare and maintain records of all ongoing and closed cases</li></ul>Court Appearance &amp; Representation<ul><li>Appear and present cases before lower courts, tribunals, and quasi-judicial authorities</li><li>Assist senior advocates during hearings and case preparation</li><li>Handle filing, listing, and procedural compliances in courts</li></ul>Drafting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Draft, review, and vet legal documents such as agreements, notices, replies, affidavits, petitions, and pleadings</li><li>Ensure accuracy and timely submission of legal documentation</li></ul>Legal Compliance &amp; Advisory<ul><li>Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations relevant to the organization</li><li>Provide legal inputs to management on risk and preventive legal measures</li><li>Track changes in laws and inform management of implications</li></ul>Liaison &amp; Follow-up<ul><li>Liaise with courts, advocates&rsquo; offices, government departments, and legal vendors</li><li>Coordinate for documentation, hearings, and statutory filings</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>LLB from a recognized university; enrolment with State Bar Council preferred</li><li>2&ndash;5 years of relevant experience in litigation and court practice</li><li>Experience in handling lower court matters independently</li></ul>Skills Required<ul><li>Strong legal drafting and oral advocacy skills</li><li>Practical knowledge of court procedures and filings</li><li>Good coordination, follow-up, and communication skills</li><li>Willingness to travel locally within Kolkata for court and official work</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person

Job Summary:We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Company Secretary to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and support the Board of Directors with effective corporate governance. The ideal candidate should have 2&ndash;5 years of post-qualification experience in handling secretarial and compliance matters.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws.</li><li>Prepare, draft, and maintain statutory records, registers, and filings (ROC, MCA, etc.).</li><li>Organize and manage Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings including drafting agendas, notices, and minutes.</li><li>Handle filing of annual returns, financial statements, and other statutory forms.</li><li>Advise management and the Board on corporate governance and compliance issues.</li><li>Liaise with regulators, auditors, and stakeholders for compliance-related matters.</li><li>Assist in drafting and vetting legal documents, agreements, and contracts.</li><li>Ensure timely compliance with SEBI/Stock Exchange requirements (if applicable).</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive corporate information.</li></ul>Key Skills Required:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of corporate laws and compliance.</li><li>Excellent drafting, communication, and presentation skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.</li><li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Qualified Company Secretary (ACS).</li><li>2&ndash;5 years of relevant experience in corporate/secretarial function.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;20,000.00 - &#8377;50,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
