Role Description:</b></p><p>
Perform a variety of complex operations in support of the aircraft. Maintain aircrafts and their associated engines and sub-systems to ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is completed and aircraft airworthiness requirements are met.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components such as cowlings and functional components.</li><li>
Rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units.</li><li>
Inspects engines and associated components for airworthiness.</li><li>
Repair or replace defective engine components.</li><li>
Sit, stoop, bend, crawl, crouch, and climb aircraft to repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components such as cowlings and functional components.</li><li>
Remove and install engines, props or rotor blades, transmissions, flight controls and other aircraft components.</li><li>
Read and interpret original equipment manufacturer and program maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other related documentation to determine feasibility and method of altering or repairing the aircraft and its associated components.</li><li>
Determine the airworthiness of the aircraft and its associated components.</li><li>
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical wiring and associated components.</li><li>
Perform progressive phase, periodic and other calendar/hourly inspections.</li><li>
Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including hydraulic system servicing, engine oil replenishment, aircraft systems lubrication, aircraft fueling, etc.</li><li>
Interacts with Company Production Control, the Customer and manufacturer in matters that concern the airworthiness of the aircraft, operational readiness of the aircraft and issues related to the troubleshooting of the aircraft system.</li><li>
Knowledge of U.S. Army Maintenance Documentation System, i.e.,738-751 DoS Pam Gen 1, 328-23.</li><li>
Required to complete maintenance documentation in compliance with all applicable program procedures. Required to make entries electronically through the program MIS.</li><li>

Qualifications</b><div></div><p><b><br>
Required</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Federal Aviation Administration issue Mechanic certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings or acceptable Host Nation equivalency.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively with team members and various levels of leadership in both written and oral form. For LATAM locations, Spanish Level II Language.</li>
<li>Ability to read and comprehend maintenance manuals and technical data in English.</li>
<li>CMF 15 aviation MOS series or another military or commercial equivalent to the H-60.</li>
<li>Minimum of eight (8) years prior experience maintaining specific assigned aircraft.</li>
<li>8 years direct experience in aircraft maintenance, civilian or military.</li>
<li>Must have exercised the privilege of their Airframe and Powerplant License for a minimum of 6 months of the previous 24 months.</li>
<li>Must have previous experience working phase or heavy maintenance on assigned aircraft.</li>
<li>Experience with working from blueprint drawings, diagram, specifications, service manuals, sketches, templates, and other incomplete data.</li>
<li>Ability to sit, stoop, bend, crawl, crouch, and climb to repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain d U.S. Security Clearance or MRPT.</li>
</ul>

The F-16 Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for: Aircraft recovery, parking, safing, and preparing for depot induction and delivery; safe towing operations; aircraft post-flight and preflight inspections, aircraft refueling, engine run, launch, and recovery operations; assisting other team members in aircraft structural and avionic/electrical modifications, upgrades, and repairs; Performing aircraft maintenance, including, but not limited to, aircraft servicing, repair, inspection; status reporting, technical, and logistical support.</p><p><b>
 What you will be responsible for:</b></p><ul><li>
Reads, interprets, and adheres to technical orders, manuals, blueprints, service bulletins, and other related documentation.</li><li>
Perform applicable F-16 related maintenance tasks, including special certification &amp; qualification tasks, e.g., engine runs, servicing or aircraft towing in accordance with applicable F-16 technical orders.</li><li>
Complete scheduled and unscheduled F-16 maintenance, parts ordering, and other aircraft functions.</li><li>
Perform routine duties within the first echelon of aircraft supervision, such as: aircraft servicing, including hydraulics, engine oil, lubrication, fuel, canopy cleaning, wheel/tire replacement, brakes, light bulbs.</li><li>
Troubleshoot and assist with the repair, replacement, and rebuild of aircraft structures and components.</li><li>
Perform flight control and other component rigging and calibration.</li><li>
Service aircraft as prescribed in applicable F-16 Technical Orders.</li><li>
 Determine airworthiness of aircraft and associated components.</li><li>
Interact with company Maintenance Operation Center (MOC), the customer, and other program representatives in matters concerning aircraft airworthiness, operational readiness, and aircraft systems troubleshooting.</li><li>

What you will need to be successful in this role:</b></p>

<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is required.</li>
<li>Must meet one of the following requirements:
<ul><li>A Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance.</li>
<li>An Associate's degree plus 4 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance.</li>
<li>High School Diploma plus 8 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance.</li>
</ul></li><li>F-16 experience is strongly preferred, but other fighter jet experience may be considered.</li>
<li>Must have experience with working from blueprint drawings, diagram, specifications, service manuals, sketches, templates, and other incomplete data.</li>
