About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced ERPNext professional to lead the end-to-end implementation of ERPNext for our construction and infrastructure business. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on knowledge of all ERPNext modules, with a core focus on accounting and financial management tailored to the construction industry.This is a leadership and execution role, responsible for aligning ERP workflows to project-based construction operations, managing full implementation lifecycle, and delivering a system that enables real-time control over project costing, financials, and operations.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead complete ERPNext implementation for construction/infrastructure operations.</li><li>Gather business requirements, map processes, and design ERP solutions accordingly.</li><li>Configure and deploy core modules:</li><li>Accounting &amp; Finance (main focus)</li><li>Projects</li><li>HR &amp; Payroll</li><li>Procurement &amp; Inventory</li><li>Sales &amp; Subcontracting</li><li>Asset Management</li><li>Ensure smooth go-live and post-implementation support.</li></ul>Construction Accounting &amp; Finance<ul><li>Set up project-wise accounting, cost centers, and budget controls.</li><li>Configure job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) tracking, and retention handling.</li><li>Manage subcontractor billing, milestone-based invoicing, and advance adjustments.</li><li>Oversee multi-company &amp; multi-currency accounting if required.</li><li>Generate real-time project profitability reports, cost variance, and cash flow tracking.</li><li>Ensure tax compliance (GST/VAT/WHT/TDS) and prepare for audit readiness.</li></ul>Cross-Functional ERP Integration<ul><li>Integrate accounting with procurement, inventory, HR, payroll, and operations.</li><li>Automate workflows like purchase to pay, project approvals, and timesheet-based costing.</li><li>Support fixed asset accounting and project asset capitalization.</li></ul>Training &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Train finance, project, and admin teams on ERP workflows.</li><li>Prepare SOPs, user manuals, and change management documentation.</li><li>Act as the go-to ERP expert for ongoing support, upgrades, and process improvements.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>3&ndash;5+ years of ERPNext implementation experience, including full-cycle projects.</li><li>Strong expertise in construction/infrastructure project accounting.</li><li>Deep functional knowledge of ERPNext&rsquo;s finance, projects, and procurement modules.</li><li>Proven experience handling:</li><li>Project-based costing</li><li>Retention and advance payments</li><li>Subcontractor financials</li><li>Milestone-based revenue recognition</li><li>Ability to lead end-to-end ERP projects independently.</li><li>Strong communication, documentation, and training skills.</li></ul>Preferred / Good to Have<ul><li>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering (CA / CPA / MBA Finance preferred).</li><li>Experience in infrastructure, EPC, civil contracting, or real estate firms.</li><li>Knowledge of Frappe framework, Python scripting, or ERPNext customization (optional).</li><li>Exposure to TDS, RCM, GST compliance (India or relevant regional taxes).</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;150,000.00 - &#8377;1,000,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>total work: 3 years (Preferred)</li><li>ERPNext Programming: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
