Aarunya is a non-profit educational trust that educates primary school children by imparting a strong foundation of English speaking and reading skills, basic etiquette and life skills; thereby increasing their self-confidence and enabling them to access more opportunities.Aarunya is seeking a skilled and creative teacher to take classes for our Communicative English Programme ( ACES: A*arunya Communicative English S*kills ) designed for ESL learners. The teacher is expected to work with young adults, teachers, and college students from diverse learning levels and cultural backgrounds.Responsibilities:- Conduct classes using the prescribed Aarunya content and focus on improving the student&rsquo;s English communication skills- Encourage the students to participate in the class and constantly correct their pronunciation and enunciation- Course correct the content as and when required- Assess and keep track of the progress of students on a regular basis- Collate the data collected to assess the efficacy of the program- Help in pre and post assessment of students attending ACES program- Should brief the ACES team about progress of class, key takeaways and learningsSkills:- Should be proficient in Spoken English- Strong foundation in English grammar- Interpersonal skills- Public Speaking- Excellent Communication and Organisation skills- Time Management- Experience with technology and online tools to take online classes.- Proficient in Microsoft Office &ndash; Word, Excel, Power Point and TeamsEducational Qualification: - Master&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in preferably English, Education, Linguistics or a related fieldWork Experience: - Min 2 years&rsquo; experience in teaching English to ESL learners or high school studentsTimings:- 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Weekends when required during training- Flexible timings &ndash; depending on the batch of students.- Classes could be either on line or on site.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Teaching: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
