Payroll &amp; Compensation ManagementObjective: Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant salary processing.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>End-to-end monthly payroll processing (salary, incentives, overtime, deductions).</li><li>Validation of attendance, leave, and overtime data prior to payroll closure.</li><li>Coordination with finance/accounts for salary disbursement and cost control.</li><li>Management of statutory deductions and filings (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity where applicable).</li><li>Issuance of payslips, Form 16, and salary certificates.</li><li>Handling payroll-related employee queries and discrepancies.</li><li>Maintaining confidentiality of compensation data.</li></ul>⸻2. Employee Grievance Handling &amp; Employee RelationsObjective: Maintain a fair, respectful, and productive work environment.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and concerns.</li><li>Investigate complaints related to conduct, harassment, performance, pay, or workplace issues.</li><li>Ensure grievances are handled confidentially, objectively, and within defined timelines.</li><li>Conduct disciplinary processes in line with company policy (show-cause notices, warnings, documentation).</li><li>Facilitate conflict resolution between employees and management.</li><li>Maintain proper grievance records and resolutions for audit and legal reference.</li></ul>⸻3. Talent Retention &amp; EngagementObjective: Reduce attrition and improve employee satisfaction and performance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design and implement employee engagement initiatives (recognition, rewards, feedback forums).</li><li>Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews; analyse attrition trends.</li><li>Partner with leadership to develop retention strategies for key talent.</li><li>Support career development, training, and succession planning.</li><li>Oversee performance management cycles (goal setting, appraisals, increments).</li><li>Promote a positive organisational culture aligned with company values.</li></ul>⸻4. Recruitment &amp; Talent AcquisitionObjective: Attract and hire the right talent efficiently and cost-effectively.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Workforce planning in collaboration with department heads.</li><li>Drafting and posting job descriptions aligned to business needs.</li><li>Screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate experience.</li><li>Conducting or coordinating reference and background checks.</li><li>Managing offer letters, negotiations, and onboarding processes.</li><li>Maintaining recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire).</li><li>Building talent pipelines and employer branding initiatives.</li></ul>⸻5. HR Compliance &amp; Policy ManagementObjective: Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment acts, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Draft, implement, and update HR policies, employee handbook, and SOPs.</li><li>Maintain employee records as per legal and audit standards.</li><li>Manage statutory audits, labour inspections, and filings.</li><li>Ensure compliance with POSH, workplace safety, and code of conduct.</li><li>Keep management informed of regulatory changes impacting HR practices.</li></ul>⸻6.
