 Job Title: Senior Analyst Credits &amp; Collections

 Purpose of the Role:
 
 
 
 The Credit and Collections Specialist is responsible for managing the company&rsquo;s credit policies and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role aims to minimize financial risk by evaluating customer creditworthiness, monitoring receivables, and effectively resolving overdue accounts, thereby maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the organization&rsquo;s financial stability.
 
 
 Is also accountable for overall performance of the teams, achievement of business KPIs, as well as the results of contractual service level agreements with clients, for internal and external clients' satisfaction, and represents the point for escalation. To ensure internal and external client satisfaction by effectively communicating and helping to meet their respective needs &ndash; includes working on client requests been solved in a timely fashion. To be the escalation point for internal clients. Coordinate with Finance Marcro Process Leader and other Finance Process Leaders to set and deliver our Sales-Finance strategy and transformation projects.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key tasks &amp; accountabilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assess and analyze customer credit applications and credit limits to ensure prudent risk management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate timely collection efforts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve payment issues and negotiate repayment plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve disputes and ensure accurate billing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain detailed records of collection activities and customer interactions in the CRM or ERP system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare regular reports on credit and collection performance metrics for management review.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement and enforce company credit policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify trends and potential risks in the credit portfolio and recommend corrective actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support month-end closing processes by ensuring all receivables are appropriately accounted for.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Audit Support:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinate internal and external audit requests related to collections, AR, and reconciliations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide supporting documents, reconciliations, samples, and balance proofs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit submissions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support process standardization to strengthen audit readiness.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Cross-Functional Collaboration:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Work closely with Sales, IT, Government Affairs &amp; Sales Finance to resolve billing, pricing, credit note, and deduction issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in weekly huddles across functions to track dispute resolution and drive cash collection.
 </li>
 <li>
 Share customer insights, payment behaviour, and risk signals proactively.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Process Improvement &amp; Compliance:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Identify gaps and propose enhancements in the collections and reconciliation processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to company credit policies, Sox controls, and compliance guidelines.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Support automation initiatives, workflow improvements, and standard templates
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications, Experience, Skills:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in finance
 
 , Accounting, or Commerce
 
 (master&rsquo;s degree or professional certification such as CA Inter/ICWA preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Overall, 3 to 5 years&rsquo; experience in managing account receivables
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in stakeholder management with commercial function and customers
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in working in an ERP environment
 </li>
 <li>
 FMCG or Shared Services experience a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with SAP financial module
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.)

 The Fixed Assets &amp; Leases Senior Analyst is responsible for end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting activities within the Account-to-Report (ATR) tower. The role ensures accurate capitalization, depreciation, lease accounting, reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls (SOX/MICS), while partnering with business, CapEx owners, and auditors in a global shared services environment.

 Fixed Assets Accounting &amp; Close
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform end-to-end Fixed Assets accounting including asset creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, impairments, and write-offs
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute month-end close (MEC) activities for Fixed Assets in line with close calendars
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure accurate depreciation runs and analyze variances
 </li>
 <li>
 Validate capitalization in line with accounting policies and thresholds
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Lease Accounting (IFRS 16 / ASC 842)
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform lease accounting activities including lease setup, ROU asset and lease liability accounting
 </li>
 <li>
 Post monthly lease-related entries (depreciation, interest, remeasurements)
 </li>
 <li>
 Support lease modifications, term reassessments, and data validation
 </li>

 Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 / ASC 842 requirements

 Reconciliations &amp; Controls

 Perform FA and lease sub-ledger to GL reconciliations

 Investigate and clear reconciling items within defined SLAs

 Ensure adherence to SOX/MICS controls with complete audit documentation

 Support balance sheet reviews and risk assessments

 CapEx, CWIP &amp; Governance

 Monitor CWIP balances and ensure timely capitalization

 Partner with Projects and Procurement teams to validate asset classification

 Experience in GBS / Shared Services environment preferred
 </li>

 Exposure to audits and internal controls (SOX/MICS)

 PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 5-8 years Previous work experience in field of Fixed Assets, accounting, reporting or audit

 Experience in working with SAP/ERP

 Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.);
 </li>

 Experience in working in a multi-national environment is a plus
 </li>

 Experience in working in a process-oriented organization is a plus
