<b>Position Overview:</b><br>
<br>
Thrive is looking for a security engineer to join our Offensive Security team. This team focuses on advanced vulnerability management and Pentesting as a service and delivers strategic security insights to clients based on the findings of these services. This role will own the delivery of these services ensuring client satisfaction, timely and complete service delivery. The Manager will work closely with the team to ensure the services are being delivered to clients effectively, drive automation initiatives to help scale the services, and stay on top of industry&rsquo;s best practices as well as new features available from the tools. Additionally, the Manager will act as an escalation point for internal teams at Thrive and the primary security contact for these services for the clients. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a commitment to maintaining high security standards and fostering client trust in our cybersecurity capabilities.<br>

<b>Primary Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>
Execution and analysis of vulnerability scans and determining remediation steps</li><li>
Execution and analysis of Penetration Tests (manual and autonomous), writing reports, and delivery of reports to client stake holders.</li><li>
Lead client meetings, offering expert advice and guidance as needed.</li><li>
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and requirements to best align remediation requirements to business outcomes.</li><li>
Creation and ongoing upkeep of materials documenting our security processes, procedures, and technologies, along with the generation of automated reports for relevant stakeholders.</li><li>
Update client Security presentations and discuss findings with our clients.</li><li>
Maintain a leading edge on security events and techniques to keep our clients aware of new threats and attack techniques.</li><li>
Other duties as required.</li></ul><br>
<b>
Qualifications:</b><ul><li>
Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, application layer protocols, and security best practices.
</li><li>Understanding cybersecurity threats, and experience with incident response standards and procedures.</li><li>
Ability to communicate security information to non-technical people.</li><li>
Has a passion for Cyber Security.
</li><li>Demonstrates comprehension of good security practices</li><li>
Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods</li><li>
Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools</li></ul><br>

Required Skills:</b><ul><li>
Ability to analyze a large amount of data from various sources and use this information to solve complex problems and make good decisions. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate within the team and other stakeholders.</li><li>

Familiarity with TCP/IP network protocols, application layer protocols (e.g., HTTP, SMTP, DNS, etc.).</li><li>
3-5 years of experience executing penetration tests, writing reports and delivering report debriefs to clients.
</li></ul><b>Preferred Skills:</b><ul><li>
Knowledge of common Windows and Linux/Unix system calls and APIs</li><li>
Working knowledge of pentesting tools, such as Burpsuite, Metaspliot framework, Caido</li><li>
Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages (i.e. Python)</li><li>
One or more of the following certifications or other relevant certifications: eJPT, PJPT, PenTest+, OSCP, GPEN, PNPT, CEH, Security+</li></ul>
Base Salary Range: $145-155k<br>

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.

<b>Position Overview</b><br>

This role provides first-contact remote technical support for network, server, and end-user systems. As the first point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for accurately creating and updating support tickets and coordinating communication with engineers when assistance is available.<br>
<br>
Team members interact regularly with end-users across diverse computing environments and must clearly communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Thrive seeks individuals with strong technical aptitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow across all aspects of IT while delivering world-class support.<br>

<b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat in a timely, courteous, empathetic, and professional manner, providing clear updates and case status throughout the resolution process.</li><li>
Perform first response and initial triage of customer issues, troubleshooting single-user and system-impacting incidents and accurately documenting all actions in Thrive&rsquo;s tools.</li><li>
Perform rapid analysis of workstation-level incidents, identifying root causes and applying appropriate troubleshooting methodology</li><li>
Ask clarifying questions to fully understand client concerns and escalate issues to engineers when required due to time, complexity, or skill level.</li><li>
Manage the daily prioritization, coding, and routing of service incidents and requests.</li><li>
Follow Thrive's established best practices for task management</li><li>
Set and manage client expectations throughout the troubleshooting process, maintaining a focus on both prompt resolution and world-class customer service.</li><li>
Develop a strong understanding of Thrive products and their integration into client environments to ensure efficient and effective issue resolution.</li><li>
Work with and document diverse client computing environments, including unfamiliar workstation, server, and network configurations, to determine the fastest path to resolution.</li></ul><br>
<b>
Required Qualifications</b><ul><li>
2&ndash;3 years of IT support experience in a help desk or service desk environment; MSP experience preferred</li><li>
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), remote support tools (e.g., Kaseya, Ninja), and RMM platforms</li><li>
Proficiency supporting Windows 10/11, macOS fundamentals, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), and common line-of-business applications, including Office and Outlook configuration</li><li>
Working knowledge of Active Directory/Entra, mobile device configuration and troubleshooting, workstation hardware, printers, and peripherals</li><li>
Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP</li><li>
Strong customer service focus with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical users</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and time-management skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>
Availability to work after hours or participate in on-call rotations as required</li></ul><br>
