Position Overview:</b></p><p>
This role provides first-contact remote technical support for network, server, and end-user systems. As the first point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for accurately creating and updating support tickets and coordinating communication with engineers when assistance is available.</p><p>
Team members interact regularly with end-users across diverse computing environments and must clearly communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat in a timely, courteous, empathetic, and professional manner, providing clear updates and case status throughout the resolution process.</p></li><li><p>
Perform first response and initial triage of customer issues, troubleshooting single-user and system-impacting incidents and accurately documenting all actions in Thrive&rsquo;s tools.</p></li><li><p>
Perform rapid analysis of workstation-level incidents, identifying root causes and applying appropriate troubleshooting methodology</p></li><li><p>
Ask clarifying questions to fully understand client concerns and escalate issues to engineers when required due to time, complexity, or skill level.</p></li><li><p>
Manage the daily prioritization, coding, and routing of service incidents and requests.</p></li><li><p>
Follow Thrive's established best practices for task management</p></li><li><p>
Set and manage client expectations throughout the troubleshooting process, maintaining a focus on both prompt resolution and world-class customer service.</p></li><li><p>
Develop a strong understanding of Thrive products and their integration into client environments to ensure efficient and effective issue resolution.</p></li><li><p>
Work with and document diverse client computing environments, including unfamiliar workstation, server, and network configurations, to determine the fastest path to resolution.</p></li></ul><p><b><br>
Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>
2&ndash;3 years of IT support experience in a help desk or service desk environment; MSP experience preferred.</p></li><li><p>
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), remote support tools (e.g., Kaseya, Ninja), and RMM platforms.</p></li><li><p>
Proficiency supporting Windows 10/11, macOS fundamentals, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), and common line-of-business applications, including Office and Outlook configuration.</p></li><li><p>
Working knowledge of Active Directory/Entra, mobile device configuration and troubleshooting, workstation hardware, printers, and peripherals.</p></li><li><p>
Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.</p></li><li><p>
Strong customer service focus with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.</p></li><li><p>
Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and time-management skills.</p></li><li><p>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</p></li><li><p>
Availability to work after hours or participate in on-call rotations as required.</p></li></ul><p><b><br>

Base Salary Range: $65,000-75,000<br>

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.

The Technical Process Analyst position is a hybrid (on-site/remote) capacity for a dedicated account. This role focuses on reviewing and optimizing internal processes by analyzing incoming support tickets/cases, identifying patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. The analyst will drive process efficiencies, automation, and AI integrations while maintaining familiarity with Thrive's tools and workflows.<br>

Review and analyze incoming tickets/cases to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement</li><li>
Conduct general quality assurance (QA) on processes to determine what can be done better</li><li>
Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies</li><li>
Explore and recommend opportunities for automation, AI enhancements, and overall technical process efficiencies</li><li>
Update and maintain technical process documentation as needed</li><li>
Prepare and deliver monthly reports summarizing imrpovements, changes, and key findings for leadership review</li><li>

Basic understanding of MSP operations, including service desk, network management, and cloud services</li><li>

Provide technical hardware, software, and connectivity problem resolution to all client computers and users by diagnosing and walking users through step-by-step solutions; clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner; provide one-on-one end-user training as needed; assist engineers and technicians; troubleshoot printer problems; work with next level support to resolve complex issues; conduct hardware and software maintenance and reporting as needed; and perform related work as required. The Tier 1 Field Services Engineer will serve clients by going on-site to their locations, serving as deskside support and on-site support to all client issues, responding to service tickets of the client&rsquo;s request or problem; resolves all first level end-user problems; escalates all Tier 2 problems to the next level of support for guidance and direction; contacts third-party vendors for warranty service repair and dispatch; and dispatches appropriate resources for problems that cannot be resolved remotely.

The Tier 1 Field Services Engineer will be able to complete all tasks necessary to unbox, assemble, and bare metal configure 10 corporate workstations in a standard 8 hour business day. Final build would include all line of business applications, domain join, VPN configuration, peripheral setup and verification, user profile configuration, and any documented specialty tasks provided by the client.

<b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>
Primary responsibilities are descriptive and not restrictive in nature</li><li>
Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves first level problems for end-users of the workstations, laptops, terminal services and Citrix sessions, end-user software and hardware, network and VPN connectivity, the Internet, server services, server drive space, validation of server error messages for escalation, and new computer technology in a call center environment; communicates solutions to end-users effectively</li><li>
Provides one-on-one end-user problem resolution for client (PC) software and connectivity</li><li>
Sets up, and assists in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software and peripherals, both onsite and remotely</li><li>
Diagnoses and resolves end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems and basic server, e-mail, Internet, VPN, and local-area network access problems</li><li>
Coordinates timely repair of PC computer equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements</li><li>
Performs minor desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third party vendor maintenance agreements as needed</li><li>
Acts as remote hands for engineering staff onsite as needed</li><li>
Assists Network Technicians in creating materials for end-user frequently asked questions (FAQs) and procedural knowledgebase articles</li><li>

Qualifications</b><ul><li>
3+ years providing end-user support for current PC desktop and application software
</li><li>3+ years installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing personal computers in a corporate networked environment</li><li>
MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) desired. Any Candidate that does not hold an MCTS, but does hold equivalent experience can work toward compliance as part of a performance improvement plan agreement</li></ul><div><br>
