Abacus Technology is seeking a SharePoint Developer to provide technical support for internal and external websites within the UCITS program (USAF). This is a full-time position in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Establish and maintain portals using Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) administrative and management tools.</li><li>
Design, maintain, and operate a medium-size SharePoint Farm.</li><li>
Direct, develop and implement SharePoint practices for the management, sharing and collaboration of communications, information, and IT assets to improve decision-making processes within the organization.</li><li>
Develop the portal in response to customer requirements not addressed by SharePoint's intrinsic functionality.</li><li>
Recommend and implement creative and innovative SharePoint solutions to complex information sharing challenges.</li><li>
Create or modify web parts and database-driven components, including document libraries, dashboards, and work flows, to alter the appearance, functionality, or content of portal, thereby enhancing automation and communication within the organization.</li><li>
Administer, create, and manage portal groups and permissions.</li><li>
Provide expert guidance in SharePoint infrastructure.</li><li>
Create custom work flows/business process mapping.</li><li>
Implement systems, to include conceptual and detailed design, configuration, requirements process analysis, and testing.</li><li>
Review and recommend software applications as well as identify salient hardware characteristics and add-on devices.</li><li>
Leverage experience with key technologies to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Windows SharePoint Services, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM).</li><li>
Provide additional support for after-hours Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs), and data center move planning/execution.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

5+ years in a SharePoint administration or development role. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field. Must be Security+ CE certified (or hold another certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II). Experience with MOSS, operations and maintenance for SharePoint servers, and web and knowledge management. Experience in scripting. Able to apply business process analysis and demonstrate an understanding of user and functional requirements. Proficient with MS Office. Able to communicate with management, technical staff and end users in a clear and professional manner. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen, hold a current Secret clearance, and be willing to relocate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).</div><div><br>
