Job Description 
The successful R&amp;D Laboratory Operations Technician IV will support Allergan Aesthetics Biological Research by coordinating and optimizing laboratory operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and continuity across the research environment. Will engage in multi-disciplinary interaction with EH&amp;S, Managed Lab Services, Facilities Maintenance, and R&amp;D Engineering with emphasis on planning, coordinating and executing logistical lab operations.
Responsibilities include: scheduling equipment technician visits and coordinating access to restricted lab spaces; organizing research lab equipment through their entire lifecycle and timely completion of appropriate documentation including installation, induction, movement and modification, inactive and retirement, decontamination as well as repair and calibration schedules; coordinating with the Laboratory Operations team to maintain health of lab freezers including seldom off-hours emergency response; facilitating safety inspections, and general lab orderliness; tracking and ordering compressed gases; collaborating with scientists to resolve lab related operational issues; overall building safety; dispersing deliveries; etc.
This position is based onsite in our Irvine, CA office (Mon- Fri) 
Qualifications 
Education and Experience<ul><li>

Job Description 
The Finance Lead, Patient Services partners closely with the Portfolio AbbVie Patient Services (APS) and CoPay COE organization to establish financial strategies, advance enterprise finance transformation, and support business analytics and reporting to ensure the success of the US Strategic Tx Operations business. The role supports all financial planning &amp; analysis activities with respect to Actuals, LBEs, Plan, LRP, and ad-hoc analysis as needed to support day-to-day operations and strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform month-end close activities including SG&amp;A review, benchmark variance analysis, and monthly management reporting</li><li>
Partner closely with the Strategic Operations and CoPay COE team to support the planning process across all Therapeutic Areas and Portfolio</li><li>
Track promotional/non-promotional budget and perform analysis of monthly actual financial results for specific franchises, including comparisons against LBEs and Plan to highlight risks and opportunities</li><li>
Own and integrate business assumptions using both quantitative and qualitative insights in alignment with APS stakeholders into models to derive a data-driven forecast output of expenses</li><li>
Independently prepare relevant variance analysis for each planning cycle, develop meaningful management reporting schedules, and highlight key takeaways in a clear and concise manner</li><li>
Drive finance transformation by identifying and implementing solutions to optimize finance processes to drive speed, agility, and insights</li><li>
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate on project teams as required</li><li>
Interact with all levels of management to communicate financial implications and guidance</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Six+ years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience</li><li>
Ability to work well as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders, as well as ability to work independently</li><li>
Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills</li><li>
Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities and deadlines</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Finance or Accounting</li><li>
CPA and/or MBA preferred</li><li>
Experience with large scale ERP and planning systems such as BPC and SAP preferred</li></ul>
