JOB SUMMARYAbbott-Action Inc., a leading POP display and manufacturing company located in Attleboro, MA, is seeking a Senior Structural Corrugated POP Display Designer with a minimum of 10+ years of hands-on corrugated POP display design experience. This requirement is strict and non-negotiable. ArtiosCAD experience required. The ideal candidate must also bring a strong production/manufacturing background, with deep understanding of corrugated materials, machine capabilities, and production workflows.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Apply advanced structural design expertise exclusively within corrugated POP (Point-of-Purchase) displays, creating production-ready designs for new and existing customer programs.</li><li>Evaluate customer needs and translate them into ArtiosCAD drawings, 3D renderings, structural designs, and prototypes that align with the capabilities of corrugated POP manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Develop designs, material specs, and manufacturing methods optimized for corrugated POP display production, including die-cutting, gluing, printing, assembly, kitting, and fulfillment.</li><li>Build, test, and refine corrugated samples for customer presentations, production approval, ISTA/transport testing, and internal validation.</li><li>Perform structural and packaging testing, analyze results, and communicate findings and recommendations to sales, production, and customers.</li><li>Assess existing or prospective customer POP packaging for improvements in cost, durability, assembly efficiency, and retail performance.</li><li>Provide creative input and lead customer design reviews, articulating structural solutions clearly and professionally.</li><li>Train, guide, and support junior designers, sharing advanced knowledge of corrugated POP engineering and production processes.</li><li>Collaborate closely with production teams, ensuring designs run efficiently on plant equipment and meet quality standards.</li><li>Comply with all company policies, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS<ul><li>College education or heavy college coursework in the field of computers, CAD, and drafting, or applicable work experience.</li><li>Good communicator with customers and sales staff.</li><li>10+ years work experience in corrugated POP display design.</li><li>Knowledge of Artios CAD, Kongsberg table, and/or similar tools.</li><li>Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office programs.</li></ul>The chosen candidates will become members of the award-winning Abbott-Action Creative Services Center, comprised of a very unique highly skilled staff of structural and graphic designers.Abbott-Action Inc. provides a competitive compensation and benefits package.The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.BENEFITS<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>SCHEDULE<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>ABILITY TO COMMUTE<ul><li>Attleboro, MA 02703 (Required)</li></ul>WORK LOCATION<ul><li>In person</li></ul>Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>ArtiosCAD: 10 years (Preferred)</li><li>POP Displays: 10 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Attleboro, MA 02703 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
