Abby Vans is an established transportation service, who has been proudly providing non-emergency, specialized transportation to elderly and disabled individuals throughout Wisconsin since 1988.We&rsquo;re dedicated to providing service that is safe, dependable and a pleasant experience throughout Wisconsin and surrounding service areas.Drivers Needed in the Following Counties and Surrounding area:Ashland, Marathon, Lincoln, Onieda, PriceAbby Vans places a vehicle at your home. You are paid from when you leave your driveway until when you return. Tentative routes are sent to drivers the day before.Benefits: Full Time Employees: Health Insurance &ndash; Health Savings Plan &ndash; PTO &ndash; Personal Days &ndash; Double Time for Holidays workedPrerequisites<ul><li>21 years of age or older - 4 year min. driving experience</li><li>Valid Wisconsin Driver&rsquo;s License</li><li>Good Driving Record</li><li>Must Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Randomly tested thereafter</li><li>10 Year Background Check</li><li>Pre-Requisite Certificates: CPR/First Aid Certification - Passenger Sensitivity - Defensive Driving, Wisconsin Brokerage Requirements</li></ul>*Abby Vans pays for cost of training but training time is not paidPhysical Requirements<ul><li>Safely operate motor vehicle in all weather conditions</li><li>Provide supervision/assist clients to enter/exit vehicle</li><li>Use proper body mechanics to load/unload clients</li><li>Secure vehicle passenger and wheelchair restraints</li><li>Operate vehicle wheelchair ramp on accessible vehicles</li><li>Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to push/pull up to 350 pounds.</li></ul>Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Communicate/receive instructions from the Office and /or the clients.</li><li>Be friendly, courteous and patient</li><li>Work towards resolution of conflicts, without being argumentative.</li><li>Operation of use of electronic devices</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
