POSITION SUMMARY: Perform janitorial support to ensure the Abe&rsquo;s Garden Community campus is clean and tidy at all times.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Respond to resident questions and assist residents to handle any concerns brought forward.</li><li>Greet residents as they arrive and assist residents with transporting personal items to and from cars.</li><li>Anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately.</li><li>Assist with deliveries to and from residents.</li><li>Clean and maintain all common areas within the campus with special attention to campus lobby, areas inside and outside of lobby doors.</li><li>Maintain and clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and all work areas on campus.</li><li>Replenish supplies in resident rooms and support housekeeping team with all cleaning duties as needed for resident care.</li><li>Prepare rooms for residents and ensure that resident community areas and meeting rooms are well equipped and neat.</li><li>Move and arrange furniture to accommodate residents or in preparation for meetings.</li><li>Ensure &ldquo;make ready&rdquo; for resident space for internal and external resident moves.</li><li>Take company vehicles for repairs when necessary.</li><li>Assist front desk staff as needed.</li><li>Respond to residents, supervisors and management in a timely manner.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Experience as a housekeeper in an assisted living or similar setting.</li><li>Ability to relate well to people and demonstrate appropriate, compassionate care for seniors.</li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:<ul><li>Must be able to sit / stand for 8 hours.</li><li>Walking, bending, light lifting up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>Abe's Garden Community is an equal opportunity employer.Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
