Position Abiding Savior Preschool seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool/Pre-K Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure that the classroom provides a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment for each child, where self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged, individuality respected, and a love of God is fostered.</li><li>Design and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, science, etc.</li><li>Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and active participation from all children.</li><li>Conduct regular assessments to monitor childhood development progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.</li><li>Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote physical education, social skills, and cognitive growth.</li><li>Collaborate with parents and guardians through clear communication about each child&rsquo;s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.</li><li>Manage classroom routines efficiently to foster a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere conducive to exploration and discovery.</li></ul>Skills will include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and lesson planning.</li><li>Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management techniques.</li><li>Familiar with curriculum development, literacy education, and kindergarten readiness.</li><li>Certification in early childhood education is preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and creating an inclusive learning environment.</li></ul>Work periods<ul><li>The Abiding Savior Preschool program follows a 'school year' schedule and is not in session during the months of June - August.</li><li>Our current Preschool/PreK program offerings are Monday - Friday, 9AM - 12PM.
