Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Medical Scribe, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of patient documentation. In this fast-paced position, you'll work closely with physicians and medical staff to transcribe and record detailed clinical information during patient encounters. Your expertise will ensure that medical records are precise, comprehensive, and compliant with healthcare standards, ultimately supporting exceptional patient care and streamlined clinical workflows.Responsibilities<ul><li>Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time, capturing vital signs, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and other pertinent clinical details.</li><li>Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient encounters efficiently and securely.</li><li>Assist healthcare providers by preparing accurate medical documentation that complies with legal and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Maintain thorough and organized medical records, ensuring all documentation is complete, legible, and up-to-date.</li><li>Support physicians during patient examinations by providing real-time note-taking and data entry to optimize clinical efficiency.</li><li>Review and verify medical records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with clinical notes.</li><li>Stay informed about medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency procedures to accurately capture complex clinical information.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in transcription within a medical setting or familiarity with medical office procedures.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room protocols.</li><li>Experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.</li><li>Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to keep pace with fast-moving clinical environments.</li><li>Prior experience in a healthcare setting such as a medical office or emergency room is highly preferred.</li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in high-stakes situations.</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of medical records management and compliance standards.
