<div><b>Pay</b>: $70,000.00 + /Annual</div>

<div>The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.</div>

</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Essential Functions</b></h3><div>
<ul><li>Conducts waste audits</li>
<li>Conducts educational presentations and outreach</li>
<li>Performs on site-waste consultations</li>
<li>Trains sorter, faculty, students, and restaurant staff on proper sorting</li>
<li>Develops, analyzes, and revises standard operating procedures related to waste management</li>
<li>Prepares compliance and waste audit reports using data collection, analysis and interpretation, as well as narrative summaries; ensures monitoring and tracking of sorting programs and oversees audits</li>
<li>Coordinates the purchase, proper use, maintenance, and inspection of necessary safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) for sorters</li>
<li>Facilitates a work environment that promotes a sustainable culture</li>
<li>Acts as an advisor to the entire management team on best zero waste practices</li>
<li>Oversees the sorting program</li>
<li>Perform data entry in the work order systems.</li>
<li>Create and track purchase orders in the accounting system.</li>
<li>Performs other administrative duties</li>

<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s preferably in Environmental Studies/Science, Sustainability, OR equivalent years of experience</li>
<li>Strong data and analytic skills; ability to translate data into actionable intelligence</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of San Francisco Zero Waste regulations</li>
<li>Demonstrates exemplary customer service and excellent verbal, written, leadership, and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to train, influence and motivate team members</li>
<li>Ability to communicate and work effectively with people from various backgrounds</li>
<li>Bilingual in English, Spanish, Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus</li>
<li>Graphic design is a plus, but not required</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of PowerPoint and excel</li>
<li>Presentation skills</li>
<li>Flexibility in schedule</li>
